Business Intelligence Analyst – President Container Group

A leading independent manufacturer of Corrugated Packaging (Sheets, Boxes, Trays, Partitions, Displays, etc..) is seeking a full time Business Intelligence Analyst to turn data from our legacy, ERP, and MRP systems into actionable business insights.

The manufacturing arm of PCG, is one of the largest corrugated manufacturers in North America (with a facility in Orange County, NY in excess of 625,000 SqFt.)
Our state-of-the-art facility has some of the most up-to-date machinery in the industry, producing in excess of 2.5 billion square feet of corrugated each year. President Industrial Products (PIP),
Based in Moonachie, NJ, acts as a distribution arm to PCG, with product lines that diversify the PCG corrugated offering. In its 150K Square Foot facility, PIP stocks over 1,400 items including boxes and packaging supplies (Stretch Wrap, Tape, Mailers, etc.) and services 2,500+ customers in the NY/NJ area.
Position Summary:
The Business Intelligence Analyst combines data analysis with a systems-architecture mindset to turn information from legacy, ERP, and MRP platforms into actionable business insights. Working closely with senior management and the Business Intelligence Manager, this role helps design scalable reporting, integrations, and automation solutions. We seek a curious, hands-on problem solver who uses AI tools confidently while bringing the judgment, oversight, and vision needed to make the results valuable.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, reconcile, and analyze data from legacy, ERP, and MRP systems.
- Build Excel and Power BI reports that translate data into actionable insights.
- Use AI tools to accelerate data preparation, reporting, and workflow development.
- Help architect scalable data flows, reporting processes, and automation solutions.
- Partner with senior management to define questions, validate findings, and guide decisions.
- Support integrations and development initiatives involving APIs, EDI, and other tools.
- Improve data quality, documentation, and controls across business systems.
- Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable learning and navigating new software applications.
- Practical experience using AI tools for analysis, automation, or workflow development; ability to verify outputs and maintain data accuracy.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.
- Experience with Power BI and ERP/MRP systems.
- Familiarity with SQL, APIs, EDI, system integrations, or software architecture concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
