Students explore the world of corrugated & career opportunities with PCG

March 2019 – Engineering students at Valley Central High School in Montgomery, New York are discovering  every aspect of the corrugated industry, from design, to manufacturing and operations. Students are exposed to career opportunities through internships, mentorship and field trips to President Container Group’s  Middletown plant through PCG’s partnership with the school.

Board Converting News recently wrote an article that highlights the success of the program and PCG’s pivotal role in mentoring these young people who may consider working in the Corrugated industry.

February 27, 2017 – Orange & Rockland (O&R) has awarded an energy-efficiency rebate of $89,500 to President Container Group II, LLC, one of the largest corrugated packaging manufacturing plants in North America.

July 21, 2016 – Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney from New York’s 18th district visits President Container’s 522,000 sq ft production plant in Middletown, NY during the “Made in New York” Manufacturing Tour to discuss economic growth & manufacturing jobs in Orange County, NY.  President Container is one of the largest employers of manufacturing jobs in Orange County.
